I got the following error when updating:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/content/84/9130084/html/wp-content/plugins/facebook-events-widget/facebook-events-widget.php on line46

What’s happening? Any guidance is much appreciated; our student population loves checking the site to see the events within the community; so looking to resolve it; thanks for any help!

what php version are you using?

I am using PHP 5

make sure you have php 5.4 or up

I updated the PHP to 5.4 however; the new plugin has less options and does not display details of the event; check out: http://www.hawaiistudentsuites.dev

What am I doing wrong?

Can it still display text explaining the event and large images across the window as well? Let me know. Thanks!
