Breadcrumbs are a feature currently only available on the WordPress.com version of Goran. We hope to have the feature available in Jetpack in the future but I don’t have an ETA. In the meantime, you could try a standalone breadcrumbs plugin if you like.
I don’t have the option to have, or not have, that shadow over the featured images.
Could you show me exactly where you had the option on WordPress.com? I’m looking in the Customizer and not seeing an option for a shadow:

Could you explain where you’re seeing an option to add or remove a shadow on feature images, or better yet, show me a screenshot?
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot:

You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library, and provide a link so I can see it, or upload it with a service like Imgur or Snaggy.
Thanks!
It’s been a few months since I’ve been in customization, and now that I am there, I see that option is no longer available, and my images are not shaded either. Maybe it was taken out recently?
Is it possible you’re thinking of Edin? It’s the parent theme of Goran and it does include an option to add a darker filter on featured images.
I know, but I never had Edin on the WordPress.com site. I’m using another theme now that I think I’ll stick with.
OK, sure. If you decide to switch back to Goran at some point and would like help with some CSS that would emulate the same filter effect, just let me know and I’d be glad to help.
I know you’ve since switched themes, but in case anyone comes across this thread in the future, I wanted mention that the breadcrumb navigation for pages in Goran is now available with Jetpack 3.5. It can be activated in the Customizer under Theme Options, by checking the box next to “Pages: show breadcrumb navigation.”
