Hello! I’m new to WordPress…figuring out things as I go, in the process of setting up a site to track my travels. I’m using Tracks theme so it’s possible I might need to visit that forum, just thought I’d check here first.

I added a global map to a page to show where I’ve been — which works perfectly, thank you…it was exactly what I wanted! However I’m running into two things (possibly related):
-One I’d like to make the map larger but the left margin never changes (the map will stay in alignment with where the text would usually go). Is it possible to change the alignment to Center?
-Secondly the map doesn’t size with the rest of the post (when you change the size of the window etc). Is this possible to update this without editing the theme under Appearance? I’m not familiar with that level yet but I think it’s something that would be lost if the theme gets upgraded?

    Thank you!!

You might get some improvement using 100% in Settings / Geo Mashup / Global Maps / Map Width. Then the map will fill the content area, and should resize with it. After that it’s a matter of whether the theme will give you a wider content area.

Thank you so much! I hadn’t noticed that option but that helps me.
