    Thanks for the report. I took note of it, and we’ll see if we can implement a better solution in a future Jetpack update.

    It’s worth noting, though, that these attributes are currently supported by all popular browsers. If you wanted the error to disappear, I’d suggest switching to another doctype like HTML4, instead of HTML5.

    I assume the themes need html5 so they set it.
    Yes they work fine in browsers. We just get penalties in pagespeed & yslow scores.
