Sorry for all the trouble!
If you’ve sent us an email you should have received a reply already. One of my colleagues probably mentioned the new version of Jetpack we released a few days to fix these issues.
If updating Jetpack 3.4.1 doesn’t help, let us know!
3.4.1 crashed my site fatal error line 276. I had to change the directory so that it would not load to see my site.
@kmorvant I replied to the thread you started here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-in-jetpack-2I am still having no luck with Jet Pack. When are you going to fix it ?
Now I read you are unavailable until the 20th of April ! thats 10 days away.
Clearly I will need to look for another plugin that doesn’t crash and its designers don’t take off without fixing it.
Its been over 2 weeks and its still not fixed@thermoblitz Could you let me know what my colleague had suggested to you in your email exchange? Could you let me know what you tried, and what happens today when you try to install Jetpack 3.4.1? Do you get an error? A White Screen?
Thanks!
Hello
Sometime last month, my website was hacked and I was able to resolve it by deleting my installation and restoring a previous update I had remotely which helped me get rid of the malware and the viruses on the site
But since then, I have been having one issue or the other with plugins
Recently, I downloaded Wordfence to help protect my site, but it shuts down my site instead and keeps giving me 501 and 500 errors whenever people try to browse
Next was Jetpack plugin which I detected was causing the problem by returning a blank page whenever I try to access the backend. I had to delete the plugin from cpanel.
Please what do you recommend I should do?
How do I get Jetpack working for my site again?Hi Jeremy,
I’ve installed Jetpack Plug in two days ago in my wordpress blog. After installing, I’ve saw that it made changes to my site that I didn’t like and de-installed it.
That brought everything to a crash and now my website/blog has disappeared completely! it says that the site cannot be accessed temporarily, however, when I go into WordPress it says I don’t have a Blog at all!
Please, please help me, I’m in a real panic that I’ve lost everything…
Thank you!@beeinbc – you will need to use FTP or CPanel to delete the JetPack plugin from your site files on the server – ask your hosts how to use FTP or Cpanel if you don’t know. Once you have that set up, find it here:
wp-content plugins jetpack - DELETE THIS FOLDERIf that doesn’t work, please start your own thread including a link to your site – here:

I just updated to the latest version too, and am getting this error across my entire site:
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 1534I’m having to delete the plugin by ftp to do anything at all with the site, and seeing as I was running Jetpack comments (amongst other things), lack of it does rather ruin off one of a blog site’s key features.
Releasing a new version then becoming unavailable to respond for 10 days shortly afterwards – probably not the best plan you had, guys.
