So here’s the deal, I put a subscription button via jetpack on my self hosted wp site. Some how, and I did not do it, the blog is up on wordpress.com and automatically updates when I post to my self hosted site. The few subscribers that I have are on the wordpress.com site and I want them coming to my self hosted site. I am sure I have either clicked a button to allow this but I don’t know how this happened. Can someone explain how I stop subscribers going only to the wordpress.com site and go subscribe to my site instead. Thanks!!

Hello…i’m really perplexed about why after authorizing jetpack so I could use jetpack and use the subscribe button the following happened:

    1. For some reason my blog went on wordpress.com which having a self hosted site is not what I want. And every time I update my self hosted blog, the wordpress.com blog updates.
    2. All of my subscribers are now subscribed to the wordpress.com site which is certainly not what I want.
    3. I’m sure I hit a wrong button or okay-ed something that I certainly should NOT have. I would be grateful for any insights on this issue. I had posted the original post in a different forum area, and I was told that I should connect with this area.

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to read this.

Two days ago, I took the subscription button off my website, but I have just put it back on just in case that would be helpful. I just wanted to stop people from subscribing when they keep getting routed to wrong place.
