Can you please try the following steps to see if they resolve the issue?
1) Disconnect and reconnect each social network that you’ve connected. The instructions for doing so are at these links:

2) Try deactivating all your plugins except Jetpack and then publishing a test post. Does the image get Publicized then?
If so, enable your plugins one by one, publishing a test post after each one. When the image is no longer shown, you’ll know that the most recent plugin you activated is the culprit.

I just tried again the 1) before trying the 2) and the problem disappeared! that’s strange… if it will appear again I’ll let you know.
