How to insert a login/register loading gif?

Hi there,
Would anyone know if there a simple piece of code available to add a spinning gif loading animation to the RPR login and registration forms when the submit button has been clicked?
Also, in which files and where would it be placed exactly?
I am no coder but am managing with basic alterations, so thank you in advance for any help.
