how does postexpirator work in post

    I’m trying to set up posts to autoexpire at a certain time. I send an email through postie to post on my website. My email looks like this:
    test.test.test.test

    [postexpirator] Monday January 4th, 2015 11:10pm

    —
    the post gets created and is on my website but the expires date does not get set and the post never expires. Can someone enlighten me as to where I am going wrong?
