Plugin help?

    Hi
    I would like to add a plugin to my WordPress site that automatically posts to social media. For example: it posts on the social media I want it to each time there has been a new post published.
    I would also ideally like it to work so that when I go on new post and type it up and I have finished it, underneath the area where I type there would be a box where I can choose what it posts to and what it says. Then when I click, it publishes. Is there any out there like this?
    I have installed one plugin already but it is quite confusing to use, plus it doesn’t let me choose what the post says – it looks as if it will just post the name of the post published and a link to it.
    Are there any out there? Please help

    The Publicize module of the Jetpack plugin will do what you’re after.

    Simply install the plugin (via Plugins > Add New) and activate the module under the Jetpack > Settings menu.

    You’ll need to set up sharing for each service you want to use (Facebook, Twitter, Path etc).

    Then, when you create a new post, you’ll have the option to share it when you publish. It’ll even let you edit the content of the status.

    Thank you, it’s working fine now for posting on Twitter.

    However, when I try and post on Facebook I want it to post to one of my pages and not my profile but it won’t let me? How do I solve this?

    Great work.

    You can find all the settings for the Publicize module under Settings > Sharing. When you hit the ‘Connect’ button to enable Facebook sharing, there’ll be a pop-up allowing you to choose either your personal profile, or one of the Facebook Pages connected to your account.
