• Hello,

I just recently found out about Cyclone Slider 2 and it seems to fulfill most of the requirements I usually have for such plugins but I am not being able to use the NextGen Gallery (NGG) integration.

When I try to import slides to a new/empty Cyclone slider from a NGG, it shows the “Slideshow updated.” notification at the top of the page but no slides show in the “Slides” box or slider preview. When I press the Update button (save), the following two errors show up in the Slider Preview box:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in D:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\cyclone-slider-2\src\CycloneSlider\Frontend.php on line 87

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in D:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\cyclone-slider-2\templates\standard\slider.php on line 34

If I choose images normally from wordpress’ built-in media library / file upload, the slides show up properly, and if I try to import a nextgen gallery after having manually added images to a Cyclone Slider, I’m sent to a php error page with the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_slide_defaults() on null in D:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\cyclone-slider-2\src\CycloneSlider\NextgenIntegration.php on line 170

I have replicated this error on a clean WordPress (4.1) installation, with only the latest available versions of the NextGen Gallery and Cyclone Slider 2 plugins installed, just to make sure it wasn’t being caused by anything in the theme i’m working with or any other plugin.

I think I can still make use of this plugin for now as this isn’t a huge priority/drawback, but that functionality would very likely come in handy.
