This plug in is calling ajax way too much. It will drain server resources almost instantly. Is there a way to limit the heart beat? I have tried everything but modifying the core files.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

We have set Chat lite refresh interval to normal.

You can control the chat lite refresh interval according to your server resources from the chat advanced settings but this feature is only available in the following pro version of chat plugin.
