Run php on articles and pages

    Since wordpress 4.0, plugins (e.g. Exec-PHP and others) that enables php code to execute in articles and on pages Exec-PHP is no longer working.

    Why is that? I need to be able to execute PHP that way (and not in shortcodes).

    Any thoughts?
