Don't support images from Dropbox? | WordPress.org

The plugin works well with images uploaded on my server und embed then in the comments, but if i upload an image to dropbox and try then to embed the sharing-link in my comments than i see only the url to the image.

What can i do to resolve that bug?

can it be that the plugin does not work with images stored in Dropbox because the URL starts with https?

Dropbox share option does not include direct link to image but rather to a html page with your image on it.

You can try linking images with raw option at the end of the url like explained here:
