We’ve indeed removed the Google+ Profile module in 3.2. That module is not related to Publicize. It was used to add Google+ Authorship markup to your site, but that feature has been retired by Google a few months ago:

Publicize will continue to work, though, no worries!
Thanks Jeremy for the background.
Is it possible to edit the Change Log…
From:
“Bug Fix: Removed Google+ module (discontinued by Google).”
To Something Like:
“Bug Fix: Removed Google+ Profile/Authorship module (discontinued by Google). Publicize to Google+ still works.”
I’m afraid we can’t change it until the next release, but we’ll definitely consider updating the changelog when releasing 3.2.1.
Jeremy – I’ll just say that I agree with JohnNadeau that the Change Log is confusing. I did NOT upgrade my sites to the 3.2 release specifically because I saw this note and didn’t want to lose the ability to publicize out to Google+.
If you can’t change the ChangeLog, it might be nice if you all put out a JetPack blog post or something like that to clarify this situation. (Which makes total sense to me, by the way, since Google discontinued the use of authorship markup.)

Thank you!
I added a mention of Google Authorship to the changelog. Hopefully this should help. Thank you all for the feedback!
Hey that’s great Jeremy!!!
Thank YOU for all of the work you do on JetPack and the great support you provide.
