Yes, that’s indeed possible, and that’s something you can change in your theme. Jetpack itself doesn’t control the way comments are displayed on your site.

Hi..I know there are 7 default avatar options to use with comments..however, is there a way to upload my own custom Default Avatar for users that login?..
I would like to incorporate my own generic default avatar for my site..
