twitter 7 times while testing
that’s one hell of a test, you broke it.
this is clearly a functional error in the plugin and i’m very interesting in knowing more details about your env and the steps to follow to reproduce this issue:
the version of wsl and wp,
were you using an old version of wsl before,
what config you’re using for wsl: what options did you enable in widget or bouncer tabs,
are you using any plugin who interfere with users authentication/moderation,
also it will be good to know you website link.
I’m using WP 4.0 and WSL 2.2.2. This is the first version of WSL I’ve used, but the past I used a different social login plugin called OneAll. It’s been disabled since I switched to WSL, but maybe its still interfering?
I’ve only activated Facebook, Google and Twitter logins, and never messed with anything in the widget or bouncer tabs. This problem is only occurring for Twitter. The only other plug-in I can think of that might interfere is USP Pro for user-submitted posts. My site is password protected to unfortunately I can’t share it – I realize that’ll limit your ability to help out, so no worries if you can’t get to the bottom of it without seeing it

but maybe its still interfering?
i didn’t try oneall, but as far as i can tell both plugins can coexist without any issue.
thank you for your prompt follow up. i’ll dig into it.
I also have this problem. I previously had “AddThis Social Sign In” but have since removed that plugin. I’ve created a new Twitter app, deleted the “new Twitter users” but WSL doesn’t seem to recognize the email associated with the email registered to the Twitter account.
I’m on WP 4 and WSL 2.2.2. WSL works seamlessly with Facebook and Google logins though. Thanks!
I am having the same problem, any progress? cheers
I have the same problem also.

well, boss, i only have a theory so far. it’s possible that one of wsl tables is missing, which may cause this unexpected behavior.
could you confirm that prefix_wslusersprofiles and prefix_wsluserscontacts exist on your database?
I can only see wp_wsluserscontacts
I have uploaded a screen shot of my database to photobucket. Please take a a look to satisfy yourself that the table doesnt exist.

this solve the case. thank you for your kind cooperation.
the issue is due to a new key introduced in 2.2.2: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-wslusersprofiles-table
the solution is to create wslusersprofiles manually: https://gist.github.com/miled/ceabf979182e6331f11f
fwiw, this is already patched, and fixed in upcoming release.
apologies for the mess.
OK thanks for your reply.
Can you please tell me when the new version of the plugin will be released?

Hi!!
I have the same issue. I installed the plugin today, but I see the last updated wad 3 days ago. Is in this upgrade the fix for this issue?
Thanks. And by the way, Awesome plugin!!!
Hey Miled,
It seems the problem is still occuring in 2.2.3. (Not sure if it was supposed to be addressed for that release, but wanted to inform you either way).
Any chance you could provide some direction on where to put that code for adding wslusersprofiles manually? Many thanks
@miled
Any progress? I would very much like to use this plugin
Thanks very much.
