I’m getting this issue still with v4.9.8 – issue is resolved when this plugin is deactivated. What version has the patch you created??
Are you on a multi-site, or a single blog install? I just tested with 4.9.8 and it worked flawlessly on both single and multi-site installs. Are you changing their role at /wp-admin/user-edit.php to “Support Ticket Manager”? If not, how are you assigning the role?
I’d love to have this patched for you all, but I can’t recreate the issue and the code looks correct, so I’ll need some more help to figure out why this is still happening on some installs. Thanks for the help.
