• Hello!

One of the sites that I’m running is a site for a local art-house cinema (http://www.bioregina.se). I have it set up right now with both Post Expirator and another plugin called Content Expirator.

Why this double-setup? Because for our site we need to change post category twice for each movie as it typically has three states over time.

    1 – Upcoming movie
    2 – Current movie
    3 – Archived movie

Post expirator right now is set up to handle the switch between Upcoming and Current. And then Content Expirator handles switching to Archived.

This has worked somewhat. With a couple of caveats:

1 – I need to get my writers to remember that there are TWO fields that should be set for this to work. And these two have completely different ways of setting up the scheduled time. And the fields themselves aren’t really descriptive so which does what has to be remembered. Not exactly elegant.
2 – The Content Expirator, while doing fine right now can’t be set up with a custom category for each post. And now I have two, maybe three types of films that need separate state-categories.

    ___________________and the wish:______________________

So my wish here is simple. I would love it if I could use Post-Expirator and simply set multiple instances of expirations with custom categories for each post.

Anyone knows of a way to set this up with this plugin or with another plugin? Or any other solution?
