Update Manual Install

Hi – I downloaded the latest version of Pro, but I have never done a manual update install. I assume I copy the folder to the plugins directory and overwrite the old one, correct? I just want to make sure the forms and customizations I’ve made will not be lost when doing a manual update. Will everything I’ve done (including custom forms) be preserved as long as I didn’t alter core plugin files?
