I just notices that when my site is accessed on a mobile device it doesn’t show anything besides the menu and a couple of other things, but it looks nothing like the website does on a computer. The website is http://www.hydratelife.org. I am running the newest version of Jetpack on the newest version of WordPress. Anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

It appears you have the Jetpack mobile theme active. You can deactivate it by visiting Jetpack->Settings and choosing “Deactivate” on the line for Mobile Theme.

    Cheers!

Awesome! Thanks so much! That looks better. For some reason I thought that turning that on would make the site look better on mobile devices?

Since you’ve been so helpful i thought maybe you could help me a little further. If you look at the home page of the website on a computer you see that there are 6 articles that get scrolled through automatically. There is a picture and a title for each one. On my phone the pictures show up and it scrolls through the 6 articles, but no title shows up. Any thoughts?

    Thanks again for the help.

It depends on your theme. When the Mobile Theme was released, virtually no theme was optimized to work well on mobile (e.g. you needed to pinch and zoom to see anything, hard to navigate, etc). Web design and development has moved forward quite a bit and more and more themes have mobile optimization built-in.

That change is being caused by your theme. On 1410 of your theme’s style.css, it is instructing browsers not to display the title on screen widths of less than 767 pixels.

    Cheers!
