Passwords Being Changed Automatically for existing users

I’m using Register Plus Redux on a school website.
All of the sudden, two of the parents that Have already registered and have already been verified have recieved a second registration email from Register Plus with a new 15 digit password.
This email was not sent by a WP administrator.
Are there known glitches with Register Plus in that it resets passwords automatically? Are there compatability issues with other plugins such as WordFence? or Stop Spammers?
