    Hi Paul,

When you are using my plugin and GTM, it is irrelevant what tracking code you are using: simply create a dataLayer macro and read the dataLayer variable “visitorType”.

Create a new rule where you check this new macro value. Set to “equals” and “administrator”.

Add this new rule to your GA tags to prevent firing them.

    Hope this helps,
    Thomas Geiger

    Hi Thomas

Your explanation was just what I needed, I set the rule as a blocking rule on the analytics and remarketing tags. I then tested with the Google Tag assistant and now they don’t fire when logged in as administrator.

Thanks very much for the response

    cheers
    Paul
