Hi @amanipe,
If you need separate point systems, the easiest way would be to create a series of “Points” tables columns (via SportsPress > Settings > Configure > Table Columns). Be sure to change the “key” to letters only, as numbers will break equations.
Then, you could display different “Points” columns per league table.
With the ELO point system, you would need to use the “Adjustments” table. There is a link above the table when editing League Tables and Player Lists. The value entered in the Adjustments table will be added or subtracted from the main table.
I hope this helps π
Hi,
I’m sorry, I don’t understand you for the ELO system. I cannot find the link you’re talking about
Up. Any news Themboy ?
Thank you very much for your support

Hi @ama,
Since the statistics are based on the sum of performance points and event results, the equations can only use these values for statistics calculation. Unfortunately, an ELO system is not native to the plugin, but there is a way to manually edit league tables and player lists.
When editing a league table, there are a set of links above the data table where you can switch between “Values” and “Adjustments”. This is in the “League Table” meta box.
By switching to the “Adjustments” table, you can add or subtract values as needed (for example, enter “5” to add 5 points or “-5” to subtract 5 points.
I hope this makes sense!
ok π ! Thanks
But that means I need to enter the results myself.
I look for an annoter plugin for weeks and don’t find one. May be you and your team could make one. I would, of course, pay for the job if it is reasonable.
Ama
@ama We’ll definitely look into developing an ELO system as an extension. I’ll keep you posted π
You’re my Hero :).
If you need any advice on how to manage a ladder, just tell me and we can have a discussion on that. I have a huge experience in ladders, tournaments and championship (more than 15 years :)) and can help you. But I don’t know how to program ! π
@amanipe I’d love to use your expertise. It would be great if you could get in touch via email to support[at]themeboy.com π
I don’t like to put e-mail address when Google bots can read it :). I’ve checked your website to know yours but didn’t find it.
You can contact me by Skype or let your e-mail at this address :
