• I am trying to create a fishing league website using SportsPress as the statistical and angler management plugin. http://www.alabamakayakanglers.com, I think it will work fine, I just have to change the terminology a little.
Do you think this plugin will do the job?

Each angler will compete against the rest of the field, (other anglers). Statistical data will consist of 7 categories (fish) and data for each category will be numerical size of the fish, in inches. Then a “total” category (total sum of all 7 fish) will be as the data point that sorts the ranking order.

The ranking will look something like this:
    Angler 1 – 140″ [fish 1-20″, fish 2-20″] ect..
    Angler 2 – 136.5″
    Angler 3 – 129.75″

DO you think that this plugin will be able to operate with my needs in mind? I have already installed the plugin and am testing some of the features now, but I figured I would ask the experts before I got too in depth and then find out that it will not work.

    Thanks

    Hi @macrain13,

This sounds like a great use of the plugin! As far as I can tell, it should work just fine 🙂

The only thing is that the statistics would need to be plain digits i.e. 129.75 instead of 129.75″, because the current version doesn’t have a method for adding units (in this case, inches) to variables yet. We’ll get to that soon 🙂

    I hope this helps!

Sounds good. I do not have to include the ” symbol. It is pretty much understood that inches are the length of measurement. I am going to start trying to figure it all out. I am sure I will be sending you more questions.
