Data (Events) Import Basics – Help

Hi Again and Everybody,
Need help. Lack of experience and fundamentals with WP I think. I doing something wrong here and unfortunately can not figure it out…
I used sample file for events and the only event that was imported was the last one… (05/05/2016 at 12:00)… When created it had current date not the one from the import file… I changed WP setting for date to match the sample file i.e. MM/DD/yyyy but not luck.
Looks like notepad/wordpad/excel affect that sample file cause every time I save any changes to the sample file to work out date-time issue import process reports “imported 2 events and skipped 0” with none visible in the events list!!!
Any feedback is appreciated !
