Email Notifications not being sent

    Hello,

    I am pretty new to wordpress.org and I am having trouble getting my site to send out email notification when I publish new posts. When someone signs up they get a email confirmation, however whenever I publish a new post no email notification gets sent out to my subscribers. I have tried this with jetpack’s email subscription service, feedburner, and subscribe2 and it still doesn’t work. I am currently using the Virtue theme but have tried other themes as well but it still does not work.
    I have read through the forums for similar issues and have tried the following but none have worked.

    – deactivating and reactivating the email subscription option
    – uninstalling and reinstalling the plugins
    – uninstalling all of the other plugins to see if they interfere with the email plugin
    – switching themes, I have tried a few including Twenty Twelve

    I am correct in thinking that an email should be sent out whenever I publish a new post, is that right?

    I have checked spam folders to make sure they are not being sent there
    Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated, thank you

    It hasn’t worked with any of those options (Jetpack, Feedburner, Subscribe2)?

    My mistake, I only tried it with Jetpack and Feedburner. I couldn’t not find a plugin in Subscribe2, only something called Subscribe2 Widget Pro, which can’t be used without Subscribe2.

    Howdy,

    Could you post a new post (when you’re ready)? Everything looks right on our end for Jetpack Subscriptions. The subscribers currently on your site have all subscribed since the last post was published.

    Thanks. There is something happening when we grab your post’s content to where we see it as still in the draft status, thus not sent ot.

    Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger to send us some more information about your site?

    To do so, follow these steps:

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on “Help” tab in the upper right side of the page and click the link for “Jetpack Debugging Center.”
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box with a link to this thread and a list of all of your plugins, your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.
