Just tried the plugin and had the same error – drop down menus appear behind the image.
Any fix for this?

Hi everybody, I just add the same issue, I could fix it by modifying the 2 css files of the plugin.
wp-content\plugins\yith-woocommerce-zoom-magnifier\assets\css\frontend.css
wp-content\plugins\yith-woocommerce-zoom-magnifier\assets\css\yith_magnifier.css
I lowered all the z-index values (keeping their hierarchy of course) and added a high z-index to my dropdown menu.
It seems to be enough to get it working , so far I did not detect any consecutif bug.

Of course these modif will be deleted after an upgrade of the plugin, so it’s better to add these CSS rules directly into yout theme’s file.
I have a similar problem.
When I click on a roll-over box of vk widget everything else used to get darker except vk widget itself. Now for no apparent reason the product image remains on top of everything and does not fade to background.
With YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier turned off everything works fine.
