I have the latest plugin update.

I’m able to receive emails from my wordpress blog but not from the PM Pro email templates.

When a new user registered a couple days ago I got this email:
“New user registration on your site [My website name here]: Username: Gretel E-mail: [his email is here]”

I’m using an email thats valid and using the same domain as the website created through cpanel.

I just noticed none of the PM Pro emails are working when I noticed I could edit the email templates to add a personal touch and some more information.

I tried searching online but could not find an answer. One thing I do notice is when I try to edit the email template it says:

    Editing paid-memberships-pro/email/checkout_paid.html (inactive)

Not sure why it says inactive.

Also, all options are set within setting to receive confirmation emails.

  • Hey there,

How are you editing the email templates? It sounds like you’re actually editing the core plugin email files in the WordPress editor. The correct way to create custom email templates is to copy that folder into your own paid-memberships-pro/email folder in your active theme. Otherwise, your files will be overwritten every time you update. Additionally, you may also want to check out the PMPro Email Templates addon which is a bit easier.

    Hope that clears things up!

    Thanks,
    Jess

I am having an issue where no emails are being sent out at all. I havent made any changes so all the default emails should be sent out but nothing is happening i went through the settings and made sure they were. when a user registers for the site the get nothing no emails at all except for the paypal invoice.

If you deactivate all of your plugins and switch to a default WordPress theme such as twentyfourteen do you get any emails?

Basically to fix the issue I downloaded and installed Easy SMTP Mail for wordpress and used my gmail SMTP info for the sending and it worked.

Messica, thanks for the suggestion on the email template addon!
