Problem with Event Importer

Hi there,

When importing events, be sure to use the date format yyyy/mm/dd.

I’ll give that a go, them example CSV from the plugin the date format is:

mm/dd/yyyy

i have imported a file.
it’s ok but not for Yellow Cards and Red Cards

for example this row
,,,,,,Rizzo Giancarlo,2,,1,
insted of consider the number 1 as yellow card, it’s put into Assists Column into the database.

and in thi row
,,,,,,Fracasso Giuseppe,1,,,1
the last 1 meand Red Cards and in the database is put into others column.

therefore, i think is need to verify the import program for fields after player

Hi massimo.marra,

The player performance (Yellow Cards, Red Cards, Assists, etc) will be inserted in the same order as they are in your events. When creating your events CSV please check that the columns are in the same order as they appear when editing events in wp-admin.

If the issue persists, could you paste the contents of SportsPress > System Status here? (use the “code” button)

the last two rows includes one yellow card and one red cards but when i import the yellow card fields is set into assist and red cards fields into another fields.
if you tell me that the row is written correct, you can verify ewith your system.

Thank you for that.

I see that there are 7 columns for player performance. The sample CSV file only includes 4 columns, so be sure to change the columns to reflect these.

Instead of:
Goals
Assists
Red Cards
Yellow Cards

Add these columns:
Goals
Shots on Goal
Assists
Fouls
Fouled
Yellow Cards
Red Cards

That way, the columns will match up and the values should be inserted in the right order 🙂

dear themboy,
i have dropped some fields of table few minutes later because we use your powerful plugin in order to manage some no-profit soccer league.
therefore, for every events, we have only goals, yellow and red.
no others information can we have, so we are dropped this column.

however i think that in the case of someone droppen any fields, the import process must go on with success with correct insert in the fields.

if you tell me tha name of single program of import events, i try to search the bug.
