Hi,
When you press the “Backup Now” button, I think a little grey modal dialog box appears.
Please can you copy and paste for me all the text that is contained within that dialog box? (It should begin with “To proceed…”).
Best wishes,
David

Thanks David,
UpdraftPlus – Perform a one-time backup
To proceed, press ‘Backup Now’. Then, watch the ‘Last Log Message’ field for activity after about 10 seconds. WordPress should start the backup running in the background.

Hi,
Great – that’s what I was hoping it would say!

Have you followed that link?

Hi David, thanks again….
Yes, I have followed all suggestions from the “Follow this link”….
1. When clicking “Back Up” now button, nothing happens, and the following error is presented: “Warning: WordPress has a number (4) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working. Read this page for a guide to possible causes and how to fix it.”
2. Clicking the “Debug Full Backup” button appears to result in a successful backup, at least according to this logs.
3. It also appears that scheduled backups run with success. This is currently set to every 4 hrs….

Also David, this is installed on Windows, might that be the issue with the scheduler?
Hi,
That page has the full list of reasons that we’ve ever come across why someone’s WordPress scheduler isn’t working… and, from my study of the scheduler code in WordPress core, I can’t see how any others could arise. So, the only thing I can really suggest is going over the list again; and if you still can’t find which one applies to you, then the only thing I’d say is that you should hire someone else to look at it one more time…
