I dont’ know where to find the exact version of WordPress I am using but I have NOT upgraded to the 3.9 version as yet. My issue is with the jetpack plug in. Over the past few weeks it is NOT sending out an email notification to my subscribers when a new post has been entered. I’m not quite sure how to fix that. I did go into the application and it is checked as ‘activated’ .. some guidance would be appreciated.

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

    Hi,

Was the a previous address associated with this site? It appears this site was first connected to Jetpack about three weeks ago and there have been no subscribers in that time.

Looking at the site, the subscription form that’s at the top isn’t the Jetpack one. If your subscribers have been using that one, would be best to check with that service.

    Cheers!

The only address ever associated with this account is the one in this email (dmpecci@aol.com). I installed jet pack quite a long time ago and our subscribers have always gotten an email when it was updated until about 3 weeks ago.. To my knowledge I do not recall making any changes to the site, infact I’m hesitant to upgrade to the newer version for fear I will lose some information. The only thing I may have done is upgrade the jetpack I had installed originally.. I am new to all of this so I may be making sense, but I was curious as to why no notification went out after the last two posts were published. If there are some steps I need to take to make changes to the site; let me know. When you write: ‘Looking at the subscription form at the top’ I’m not sure what you mean but to my knowledge jetpack is the only thing I’ve installed that would be used for the subscribers. I thank you for your continued help and hope what I type here makes some sense to you.

I’m sorry, I mean if there was a different website address associated with this site. The current connection is only about three weeks old and I’m not seeing anything else previously associated with your e-mail address.

    This subscription form:
    https://cloudup.com/ceU_EYR82ft
isn’t from Jetpack and this subscriber count:
    https://cloudup.com/cMFZNrj9kPf
    isn’t either.

It appears there’s another plugin (Subscribe2 from looking at your page’s sourcecode , http://wordpress.org/plugins/subscribe2/ ) that is adding in that form and subscription count.
