Verification keeps timing out

    Good morning,

    Since the latest WordPress update I’ve been unable to connect to my Jetpack Plugin to my WordPress.com account.

    When attempting to connect I receive the following message:

    “Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. Operation timed out after 30 seconds with 0 bytes received”

    I’ve gone through the process of uninstalling, and reinstalling plugins one at time and have even contacted my host, although so far they’ve been unhelpful.

    Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    To do so, follow these steps:

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on “Help” tab in the upper right side of the page and click the link for “Jetpack Debugging Center.”
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box with what you mentioned above and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.
