Hi there,
You can change the Author of a player by editing the player, then scrolling down to the “Author” section. Select the user that corresponds to that player from the dropdown.
This will give that user access to edit his or her player profile.
If a player doesn’t exist for a user, you will need to create a new one, then change the Author.
to clarify,
the players are already created via the csv upload file. i asked the players to register in the website. some of them did but i can’t seem to know how to link a player created under sportspress plugin with a registered user!!

Thank you for the additional info. It looks like the player-to-user feature is still limited, and players can only be assigned to admin users in the current version.
I’ll let you know when we release a version with the ability to link players to registered (non-admin) users 🙂
This feature would be awesome. I just really wish there was an update to this, since I run a hockey league online and it would be very convenient to link created players to their profile pages.
