    So, in …/plugins/wp-google-maps/

I see a markers.xml file for each of my maps.

1st, shouldn’t these be stored in the /wp-content/uploads/ or some other place where changes such as replacing or removing the plugins doesn’t lose your map data. Just a thought, but not a huge deal.

Something else I noticed. It seems that every page load of the site (public and admin), even if it doesn’t have a map on it causes every one of these markers.xml file’s modification date to update. Is it rewriting or touching these markers.xml files on every page load? Seems to be an unnecessary bit of overhead. Is this happening for anyone else or is this unique to my site?
