Working with Co-Authors Plus

    Hi, I needed to find out how to deal with post authors when the Co-Authors Plus plugin is installed. I noticed in the list of fields in the field mapping step there was both “post_author” and also a filed called “author” down by the taxonomies. But that was as far as I had gotten.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    To assign an author to post you should map it with post_author field in drop down. You should handle author field as only for taxonomies.

    Oh, sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant to ask what I do with guest authors who aren’t mapped to a user?

    Co-Authors Plus plugin is not tested with our import, hope it is not supported by current version.
