Publicize message not updating

    We are having an issue where once we save a post as Draft or save it to publish at a future date (i.e. it is still not live and publicize has not sent out the message), we are not able to save changes to the custom message.

    Is there a way we can edit the custom message on draft posts or future posts?

    Could you walk me through the steps you follow to save your draft post? I tried the following, but couldn’t reproduce the issue:

    1. Click on Posts > Add New
    2. Write a post title, some comment
    3. Click on “Save Draft”
    4. Click on “Edit” above Publicize’s custom message input field
    5. Enter a custom message
    6. Click on “Save Draft”
    7. My custom message is saved, along with my draft

    Jeremy,
    that is close to our process, but here is what we are doing.

    1. Click on Posts > Add New
    2. Write a post title, some comment
    3. Click on “Edit” above Publicize’s custom message input field
    4. Enter a custom message
    5. Click on “Save Draft”
    6. My custom message is saved, along with my draft
    7. Click on “Edit” above Publicize’s custom message input field
    8. Enter a custom message
    9. Click on “Save Draft”
    10. My custom message is <b>not</b> saved, along with my draft

    Perfect. I was able to reproduce the issue, thanks a lot!
    I’ve asked our Publicize expert to take a look, and I’ll post again here as soon as I have some news.

    Just closing the loop on this: this bug should now be fixed.
