Shortcodes showing on page
-
Since uploading to wordpress 3.8 all the shortcode tags for showing Youtube videos that were being converted into IFRAMES are now being displayed as shortcodes ON the page.
E.G on one page I have a multitude of shortcodes like this

This is from an article that was added BEFORE the upgrade however articles uploaded after the upgrade are also doing this.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to get this working again?
Is it a functions file or kses file change in the new version
I really don’t want to have to write my own code to convert shortcode videos into iframes etc but I need a quick fix as a lot of my content is video.
I also had to disable Jetpack because of errors in the post page – not being able to toggle between HTML and Text view in the editor, arrow slide up panels not working, tags not showing, Yoast SEO panels not showing. JS errors filling the console from core WP files and so on.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
