When I look at your xmlrpc.php file, I see an error: “ini_set() has been disabled”. Have a look at this thread:

You should contact your webhost about that, or you can also try this solution yourself, and that should fix the error. Let me know!
I just had the same error when trying to connect to wordpress.com after installing the plugin.
Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://ncfmaryland.org/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.
I tried the solution in the above post and still get the same error. This is the error.
