problem with filename

    I’m having a problem with images cached by wpematico. It creates UTF-8 characters on the filename of the image.
    example:
    img source file name is: Protecting-yourself-from-the-rain….jpg
    the created file name output is: Protecting-yourself-from-the-rain%E2%80%A6.jpg

    How can this be fixed?
