Feedback on the JP Subscriptions feature
-
I’ve just had a look into JP’s “Subscriptions” feature and I noticed some areas that could benefit from some attention:
- When a user enters their email address and does NOT confirm with the email they receive, the pending subscription seems to NEVER expire. This led a user to tell me that my subscriptions didn’t work, while in reality, the confirmation message was overlooked or caught in a spam filter. It would be good if pending subscriptions expired after, maybe a week or so? (alternatively, add a column “Pending” to the subscriber list and allow an admin to remove entries from it manually.)
- If a subscription that was pending for a VERY long time 😉 (months in this case) is finally confirmed, it shows up in the list of subscribers from the date that they entered their information, not from the date that they confirmed. During the time the subscription was pending they didn’t receive any messages of course, so I think this should show the date the subscription was actually confirmed.
Thanks
Alexander.
