password protected areas

Hi,

I’m new to WordPress and can see there are lots of members areas. I need a function that allows for passworded protected areas for individual clients – ie a personal area per client to download documents….

Which of the elegant theme designs allows for this or is there a special plug in that I need that will work with any elegant theme design?
