Seems auto detect stopped working for me after updating to 3.6 today.
Should launch Vimeo in lightbox upon loading this page:

@larstmoen, that’s probably the issue for me too. I tried deactivating all my plug-ins and it still wasn’t working so it probably is an issue w/ new WP version. Hpefully there’s a fix soon. I do not want to go back to all my old links to add the fancybox class.
Seems to be a WordPress problem, my website produces a 404 error, looking for jquery files. http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/24994
Updating to the newly released WP 3.6.1 did not resolve this problem.
(The jquery 404 error is gone, however).

Yes, I hope he does soon! I just deactivated this plug in since it was screwing up all my videos at the moment. The ones that do have the lightbox effect just show a blank white box
@jdang, I do not see any Easy FancyBox related scripts in your page source… Can you activate the plugin?
@larstmoen your theme script causes an UncaughtReference error related to an undefined variable ‘twitter_username’. Apparently the theme NEEDS a twitter username or else the script fails. And it is this failing that subsequently halts fancybox… You need to define a twitter username or fix the theme script ( which ever is easier 😉 )
Solved for me. A call to the standard WP twitter widget broke the script. Thanks!

@ravanh, I just reactivated it. Thanks!
@jdang please go to Settings > Media and look in the Fancybox > Links section for the option “Exclude”. Set it to “None” instead of “Without thumbnail image”.

@ravanh, just did that (and I had it set to this before). There is a pop-up lightbox now but nothing shows in it – just a blank white box. Add’l thoughts?
@jdang – thanks for pointing that out: it’s a bug. Use the protocol http instead of https for now. Then next version will see this the bug fixed 🙂

@ravanh Thx for the quick reply. And sorry, I’m not super technical . . . is that a setting I can set w/in WordPress?
Oh, sorry. That was not a clear answer from me… No, it’s the link address you are using: https://vimeo.com/71293607. Make it http://vimeo.com/71293607 without the s in the https 🙂

@ravanh Thx, that makes a lot more sense. I’m going to de-activate for now and wait till the next update. I have too many posts at the moment to switch it out.
Thx for a great plug-in and I look forward to the next udpate!
