You’re trying to insert in “HTML” mode where Synchi IDE is on – right? Because if that’s the case – it is not supposed to work – that is for ppl using the “visual” editor, Synchi is used for smooth code editing and – yes – inserting images into the code will not work in that way.
Let me know if it’s something else…
Yes I am using html mode. I code everything. Except it would be nice for this feature to still work because it then I wouldn’t need to separately get the url for an image every time I want to insert one.
But fair enough if your plugin is not meant to do that. Maybe it would be a nice feature?
Thanks for the reply
You can still do it though – by entering into visual mode, inserting the image and then returning in HTML mode to continue editing the code.
I suppose it could be added as a feature but it would require me to hook to some WP javascript and that could be changed by WP core team in some future versions => I need to maintain the feature etc.
I’m not saying I will not consider this to be added when I catch some time to work on the plugin.
Thank you for using Synchi and your feedback.
