Hi Menschitko, I’m not familiar with WPTouch Pro. If you found a fix, can you share it?
However, if you are looking to make FancyBox behave on small screen devices, then you might want to read the FAQ “The lightbox does not look good on mobile devices. What can I do about that?” on http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-fancybox/faq/
Hi RavanH,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried your solution (widget script) but that didn’t work, as modern smartphones pretty much mimic the resolution of a Full HD monitor. You can have a look at how it works on my website (androidportal.sk). Once opened on your smartphone, WP Touch will load, which is basically a mobile design.
When you click on an image inside an article, you are then unable to close it.
The support staff at brave new code suggested that your plugin might use this hook: $this in which case, I am unable to deactivate it in the WP Touch admin area.
In an ideal scenario, I would like to keep using your fancybox, because quite frankly, it is amazing, however, if I won’t be able to use it in WP Touch, I will need to find an alternative.
Let me know what you think and if it would be possible to solve it.
I’d be happy to take a look but I do not have WPTouch Pro. Is the problem similar when using the free WP Touch with Easy FancyBox? If so, I can do some tests, next week maybe…
@ravanh, we often provide the developers of popular plugins with dev copies to help them improve compatibility. If you would like one, just email info@bravenewcode.com and let us know.
