Looked added the lines to the htaccess file and that didn’t help. I am dead in the water.

Please delete the plugin from ftp, and install it again, or reinstall it directly by uploading new files. We uploaded new version with bug fix.

Yes, WP will recreate it when you hit save permalinks again.
