    Hello,
Have been reading through various posts regarding Captcha image not showing up. I have also tried the fixes as suggested (making sure domain names match, and setting permissions for folders to 775), however I still don’t see the Captcha image being displayed.

    The link is http://www.innovatussystems.com/contact/

The website is hosted on Windows 2008 server running IIS 7 and PHP 5.2.17.
It was initially hosted on a Godaddy domain and was only recently moved to the present domain which is not in GoDaddy).

I also used a third party redirect tool : Helicon ISAPI_Rewrite 3 lite to get rid of the index.php on the URL names.

Is there something I am missing here? What can I do to get the captcha displaying again? It was working perfectly fine on GoDaddy.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

    Shalini

  • I will fix it in the next version.

But until then, if you are having problems…
I recommend going back to this version:
    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/si-contact-form.3.1.6.3.zip

The instructions how to do it are here:

Mike – Thank you for the update. I will revert to the older version for now. Will post back if I still face issues.
    Shalini

I suggest you try the latest version 3.1.8.2 or higher to fix this.

    Hello Mike,
You had mentioned going back to using version 3.1.6.3 in your earlier post.

I havent tried it with version 3.1.8.2 yet. So which one do you recommend I try first? or did you want me to try both versions?

    Shalini

Try 3.1.8.2 because I fixed what I think was causing this issue and many others. If that works, there is no need to install an old version

Just out of curiosity, could you share what the issue was earlier and what kind of update you were able to make that solved it?

Is it because I used a third party redirect tool or because my website server running on IIS?

IIS does not like when there is no document file type in the URL (no .php, .htm, or .html)

The other version had a CAPTCHA that could cause the problem with IIS
I changed it to have .php in this version.
