I have exactly the same problem, although I started with WP 3.5.1 from the get-go.
Has anyone found a solution yet?
Video not found or access denied: http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/video-gallery/Cast/Cast.mp4. This is the message I am getting when trying to play the video. The gallery scans it but then will not play. I see the actual address should have wwwroot after the web site address. How would I get this to go to the actual address?
Yes I am. When I scan for new videos it come up with the name but shows they have no size. If I click on the name it just tells me it can not access it or video not found. I have deleted and reinstalled a couple of times with no change. I really liked this when it worked and would like to get it going again. Thanks for your response.
@ mammothpastor
Please provide URL to your site which has a video with this issue inorder to check this.
@ mammothpastor
Are you having the video at location mentioned below? Please check using any FTP tools

Yes that is where it should be. I am using cuteftp to upload. This is where it was working before and then wouldn’t work.
mammothspringfbc.com\wwwroot\wp-content\uploads\video-gallery\Cast\Cast2.mp4
I am using Hostek for hosting my site and this is the actual site as it appears in the file manager interface. Could the absence of the “wwwroot” be causing a problem?
@ mammothpastor
Even below is unavailable.
http://www.mammothspringfbc.com/wwwroot/wp-content/uploads/video-gallery/Cast/Cast2.mp4
Yes that is where it should be. as mentioned above – does that mean the file is available now in that location?
Also make sure you have file permissions set properly.
Yes that is where it is and has been. The only permissions I have set are for the upload of the files. The video manager seems to know they are there but shows no size to the file. Under duration it shows “0”.
I checked the permissions and they are set to read via browsing and scripts.
@ mammothpastor
But the files are not accessible via the URLs. If the files are present and the permission is set properly then the file should be accessible via URL even without the player.
Okay I will check with my host then.
