I’m working with out engineering guys on this one too, and keeping them appraised of everything that’s going on. We found out late on Friday, before a three day weekend (OF COURSE) so catching all the right people has been fun!
Having some issues as well, as I have not been able to use Jetpack for a few days now. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and I got the following error message:
“Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.”
I hope the issue gets solved because I loved using Jetpack.

I was able to get Jetpack to connect earlier today, but it’s going quite slowly. I guess it’s better than nothing.
azn137, can you test again?
I ran a (very basic) connectivity test by running this via command line: lynx https://jetpack.wordpress.com/jetpack and it worked!

Just as an FYI (because I dont know if it matters) I have disactivated and deleted Jetback. Let me know when I should re-install it.

I’m having the same issue too! I keep getting the same error message. It worked fine before but I had to deactivate it. Now when I try to reactivate it I get this error message.
