    It would be better, probably, to add custom post type support to your theme.

    That said, the converter should give you the option to change them back as long as the custom post type is still registered. (That is, if it was registered in your old theme and not in a plugin, you’ll need to reactivate that theme long enough to do the conversion.)

    Thanks for the suggestion i ended up manually converting them.
